CHARLOTTESVILLE, Va. (CBS19 NEWS) -- With school back in full swing, making sure kids are eating healthy and getting a balanced diet is a top priority, but for some children with autism, that can be a challenge.

“Children with autism, they often have self-restrictive diets, pretty selective about what they want to eat sometimes,” said Katie Kariel, director of pediatric ABA services at VIA Centers for Neurodevelopment.
