CORBIN — Visitors to Cumberland Falls State Resort Park had the chance to meet woodturner Robert Cook of Trebors Woodshop during the second weekend of Arts Appreciation Month. Cook was set up in the park’s gift shop on Saturday, where he and his wife Connie sold a variety of handmade wooden bowls.

Cook, who grew up in Indiana and now lives in the Breckinridge County community of Custer, Kentucky, said his love of woodworking began in his youth as he spent time outdoors and learned about trees and nature.
