WICHITA, Kan. (KWCH) - Wichita police said they arrested a 31-year-old mean for the sexual assault of a minor.

The incident happened at around 5:45 a.m. Monday in the 1500 block of S. Kansas, near Hydraulic and Park Street in south Wichita.

Police said the child was waiting for the school bus when they were approached by the suspect, who lured the child into a vehicle and committed the assault.

The suspect was found quickly and booked at the Sedgwick County Jail. Police continue to investigate.
