LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WAVE) - It’s being called an urgent, community-wide call to action to help prevent suicides, that comes after the Louisville Metro Department of Public Health and Wellness released its comprehensive Suicide Fatality Report Tuesday morning.

From 2019 to 2023, the Suicide Fatality Review Work Group reviewed coroner data related to suicide deaths in Jefferson County. Workgroup members included dozens of agencies, including the University of Louisville, the Center for Family & Community Well-Being and a list of community partners that can be found on page 8 of the 27-page report.
