GRANT COUNTY, Ind. — The Grant County Sheriff's Office is asking for the public's help in finding a missing K9.
Ellie Mae became "spooked" while being moved from her outside kennel to an indoor kennel, police said, and ran away around 8 p.m. Friday, Sept. 19.
Police said they conducted ground searches and used drones, but they haven't been able to find her.
Ellie Mae is an adult red Bloodhound with green eyes.
Police said she is "people and pet friendly" and "poses no threat to the public."
Police said Ellie Mae's handler is currently out of state, but is returning Saturday, Sept. 20 to help search for her.
