JAMESTOWN — The University of Jamestown football team was defeated 36-7 by a potent Minnesota State University offense in their second home game of the season Saturday afternoon at Charlotte & Gordon Hansen Stadium.

The Jimmies (0-3) will look to rebound as they travel to face Concordia-St. Paul next Saturday, September 27 at noon.

Early on, Minnesota State had its way at Hansen Stadium.

Minnesota State's offense established its rhythm early and amassed 549 total yards on the day. The Mavericks built a 19-0 lead by halftime and extended it in the second half before Jamestown found the end zone.
