EVANSVILLE, Ind. (WEVV) — A Carmi man was arrested after a Flock alert led officers to a stolen vehicle, according to police.

EPD officers say they received a Flock alert notifying them that a stolen vehicle was traveling in the area of Weinbach Ave/Southeast Blvd on Saturday.

The vehicle was located in the parking lot of Pawn 2 Cash on Weinbach Ave.

Officers watched as a man left the pawn shop and opened the passenger door of the stolen vehicle.

The man was detained and identified as 33-year-old Daniel K Poshard of Carmi, Illinois.

Officers say they were documenting contents of the vehicle and found methamphetamine and a syringe. They also reported finding numerous firearms and more than sixty hand and power tools inside of the vehicle.
