Saturday was a September sizzler across central and south Alabama. High temperatures were in the mid 90s in most locations. The sky was partly to mostly sunny, with only a handful of showers and storms in the mix during the afternoon. Our area quickly became rain-free during the evening. Saturday night looks partly cloudy to mostly clear with lows in the mid to upper 60s.

Summer 2025 officially ends Sunday, with the autumnal equinox quickly approaching on Monday. Sunday certainly looks like a classic summer day, with high temperatures in the low 90s, and isolated to widely scattered showers and storms during the afternoon. Rain fades away Sunday evening, then the sky becomes mostly clear Sunday night with lows in the mid to upper 60s.
