The Latest Storm Tracker Forecast from Meteorologist Kevin Appleby:

High pressure continues to dominate our region, giving us a lot of sunshine for the second half of the weekend. The combination of clear skies, very dry air in place, and calm winds overnight allowed Albany and other parts of the region to experience the coldest start since the middle of last spring, with Albany dropping to 38 degrees this morning. Nights will be warmer going forward through this forecast with southerly winds, more clouds, and even some much-needed rain chances!

Despite the cold start, many will end up in the lower 70s this afternoon with sun filtered by cirrus clouds. Winds today are out of the south-southeast, as opposed to yesterday's northerly flow.
