The New York Giants will try to avoid an 0-3 start for the first time in four years when they host the Kansas City Chiefs on Sunday Night Football. Kansas City also comes in with a 0-2 record, which is rather surprising.
With rumors about possible coaching and quarterback changes swirling, it’s not going to be easy for the Giants to climb out of their early-season abyss. The Chiefs are still the defending AFC Champions and have not lost their first three games since 2011.
Conventional thinking is that Kansas City will come out “angry” and get back into winning form against an inferior opponent. But the Giants offense did show a lot of fight in a Week 2 overtime loss at Dallas.
