DOTHAN, Ala. (WDHN) — Monday marks the beginning of the fall season, but temperatures will not be fall like...yet.

Over the next three days, highs will top out in the mid to upper 90s as lows start off near 70 degrees. Rain chances will remain at about 10%.

Besides the hot and dry conditions, Monday's main story is that it is the first day of fall, and temperatures will "fall" soon.

This will happen after a cold front moves through Thursday and Friday, bringing up to a 50% chance of rain each day. A strong storm or two are possible, but widespread severe weather is not forecast.

Rainfall accumulations will generally be less than one-half inch, providing very limited drought relief.
