OMAHA, Neb. —
A ribbon cutting marked the opening of the Holland Performing Arts Center in 2005.
The auditorium was specifically designed to propel sound further with carefully sculpted panels on the walls and shallow seats with thinner cushions.
"The way performers react to it, the quality of what they do and what people hear, all that establishes a reputation. And it sorts itself out. Our prediction is that it's just going to float to the top like a cream," said a music expert.
