MANNING, Iowa (KCAU) — A community in northwest Iowa is getting federal funding to breathe new life into the neighborhood near a popular park.

The Iowa Economic Development Authority said the City of Manning obtained more than $1.5 million through a comprehensive neighborhood revitalization grant.

The money will be used to fix up the Park Avenue neighborhood surrounding Manning City Park.
