Amazon has confirmed that it will close all 19 of its UK Amazon Fresh stores.

First launched four years ago, the brand quickly established locations across London, amassing a workforce of 250 people.

Amazon did state that while it would be closing all sites, five could be rebranded under the retail giant's Whole Foods Market brand.

Due to this, it has been reported that not all of the 250 employees will be effected by the closure of the sites.
