SAVAGE, Minn. — Investigators are looking into the death of an infant Monday at a childcare facility in the south metro.
Savage police say the baby died at Rocking Horse Ranch Childcare in Savage. While police provided few details of the fatal incident, they did say agents from the Minnesota Bureau of Criminal Apprehension are assisting with the investigation.
The infant was taken to the Hennepin County Medical Examiner's Office for an autopsy in hopes of determining the cause of death. That child's identity will be released once all family has been notified and the preliminary autopsy is complete.
