The New York Giants are looking toward the future and making a change at quarterback.

The Giants plan to start Jaxson Dart on Sunday against the Los Angeles Chargers, leaving Russell Wilson as the backup quarterback, ESPN’s Adam Schefter reported .

Wilson, who signed with New York in March , is winless through his first three games with the Giants.

Coach Brian Daboll hinted at a potential change on Monday when he spoke to reporters. And it appears he’s not waiting any longer to try to get back into win column.

The Giants drafted Dart with the 25th overall pick in April, and fans were calling for him to replace Wilson in Week 1 after the veteran went 8-of-15 and failed to throw a touchdown in the first half against the Washington Commanders.
