A report was issued from the National Weather Service on Wednesday at 1:08 a.m. for dense fog until 8 a.m. for Oneida, Seneca, Cayuga, Onondaga, Tompkins, Madison and Cortland counties.

"Locally dense fog is expected to develop early this morning into the morning commute across central New York and Northeastern Pennslyvania. The fog may reduce visibilities to a half mile or less. If driving, slow down, use your low beam headlights, and leave extra distance in front of you," says the weather service.
