LEXINGTON, Ky. (WKYT) - Our FIRST ALERT WEATHER DAY continues through today as additional rounds of showers and storms work through the area, especially this morning. Then, things start to settle down a bit.

THURSDAY: FIRST ALERT WEATHER DAY. Cloudy skies will be with us this morning as we see a few scattered showers linger in the area. Scattered showers and a few thunderstorms will continue to be with us into the afternoon as we see highs in the mid to upper 70s. Some scattered showers will linger into the evening before we dry out overnight and see lows in the upper 50s to low 60s.

FRIDAY: Partly cloudy skies will be with us throughout the day Friday as we stay mainly dry and only see an isolated shower during the morning. It will be a pretty nice day with highs in the mid to upper
