CHARLOTTE, N.C. (WBTV) - A potential tropical cyclone was expected on Friday to form in the coming days, and it could impact the Carolinas next week.
As of 5 p.m. on Friday, Sept. 26, a potential tropical storm was looking to form over the Atlantic. If the storm were to develop, it would have a chance of moving westward toward the Southeast U.S., and possibly into or near the Carolinas.
