SIOUX CITY (KTIV) - The Madison County Sheriff applauded the actions of first responders after a man was reported missing at the Yellow Banks Wildlife Management Area in Northeast Nebraska.
According to a release, the call came in around 2:15 p.m. on Sunday. The family of a 64-year-old Tilden-area resident reported that they had not spoken to him for three days when his vehicle was spotted by a friend who was camping in the area.
The sheriff’s office noted that the missing man has a known medical condition that can cause confusion and disorientation. It was estimated that he had been missing in the wildlife area for nearly 48 hours.
