Snacks sold at Target, Kroger recalled over possible metal contamination

(CNN) - Tru Fru has recalled some of its freeze-dried fruit because it might contain metal fragments.

The recall was technically issued by Georgia Nut Company , which manufactures the products.

Affected items are Tru Fru Freeze Dried Strawberries in Dark and White Chocolate, and Strawberries and Creme.

They were sold at retailers including Target, Albertson’s, Kroger, CVS, H-E-B, and Food Lion.

A report from a customer spurred the recall.

There have been no reports of injuries.
