October is expected to begin about the same way that September is ending. Temperatures will drop a few degrees over the next few days with less humid conditions expected, but temperatures are expected to remain warm into the new month. Rain will be hard to come by.
For tonight a few isolated showers are possible this evening, primarily across NE Alabama. We'll be otherwise partly cloudy tonight with temperatures falling into the mid 60s.
Wednesday brings a mix of clouds and sunshine with just a slim shower chance. Temperatures will peak in the mid 80s.
We'll ease back into the low 80s for the rest of the week and into the weekend. Some cooler nights in the upper 50s can be expected.
A few showers may return late Sunday and through early next week, but no widespread rain chances appear
