An updated coastal flood advisory was released by the National Weather Service on Tuesday at 7:29 p.m. valid for Wednesday between 2 p.m. and 8 p.m. for Cape May County.
"Up to one half foot of inundation above ground level expected in low-lying areas near shorelines and tidal waterways," explains the weather service. "A high risk of rip currents is likely to continue through the remainder of the week. However, the surf program ends on September 30. This will be the final day that rip current statements will be issued."
