Hurricane Humberto has merged with a front and is starting to fizzle out.

The system, however, is generating dangerous surf and rip currents that will persist along the western Atlantic coastline throughout the week.

As of the 11 a.m. advisory, the NHC said Humberto is moving northeast at about 23 mph and is located approximately 280 miles north-northwest of Bermuda.

Humberto had maximum sustained winds of nearly 70 mph and a minimum central pressure of 980 mb.

There are no coastal watches or warnings in effect.

This is the last public advisory on Humberto that the National Hurricane Center will issue.
