SAN ANGELO, Texas (Concho Valley Homepage) — The San Angelo Police Department (SAPD) put out a press release notifying the public about a shooting that happened around 2:32 a.m. on Oct. 3.

The San Angelo Public Safety Communications received multiple reports of shots fired at the Enclave Apartments, located at 17 W. 31st Street, reported SAPD.

"Officers learned that a 31-year-old male victim had been shot multiple times by a known acquaintance at this location," SAPD. "The victim fled the scene and stopped at the Stripes convenience store near 19th Street and Bryant Boulevard, where he encountered Tom Green County Sheriff’s Deputies. The Deputies rendered medical aid until the victim was transported to Shannon Medical Center for treatment."

SAPD stated that the suspect remains at large
