NEW ORLEANS (WGNO) — A man was fatally shot in Algiers Monday, Oct. 6.

According to the New Orleans Police Department, officers were called to the 3700 block of Texas Drive around 8:00 p.m. Police found a man suffering from a gunshot wound. He was declared dead.
