FRANKFORT, Ky. (WSIL) -- The Kentucky State Police (KSP) said they are investigating violent threats made against members of the Kentucky Parole Board recently.

Board members have had their personal information released online, along with threats of violence and death targeting them and their families, KSP stated in a release.

State police said threatening harm to others is a crime under Kentucky law and can result in a jail sentence.

The Kentucky State Police is urging individuals to stop these threats and said those who continue to engage in such activities may face investigation and potential charges.
