A Jefferson County teen has been indicted in three separate 2024 Birmingham murders.

Cameron Scales, 19, is charged with two counts of capital murder in two of the killings, and intentional murder in the third slaying.

The indictments against Scales, whose sister Anitra Holloman was killed in the Hush lounge mass shooting, were issued Sept. 12 and made public Monday.

The first shooting happened March 3, 2024, during a party at a Birmingham Airbnb.

Killed was 21-year-old Phong “Timmy” Nguyen, a Clay-Chalkville High School graduate who served in the U.S. Army Airborne Artillery.

Daveon Dortch, 20, is also indicted in Nguyen’s homicide . Both are charged with capital murder during a robbery.
