MARINETTE COUNTY, Wis. (WBAY) - The Wisconsin Department of Justice announced Tuesday that law enforcement officers won’t face charges in the fatal shooting of a man connected to a Dane County homicide investigation .
The incident happened August 29 in the Township of Peshtigo. Last week, the Marinette County District Attorney DeShea Morrow issued her decision regarding the death of Andrew Collamore, 23, a Rock County man.
The D.A. wrote that Collamore’s shooting death by two Marinette police officers was justified under the circumstances then existing, and no criminal charges will be brought against the officers.
The district attorney based her determination on the evidence contained in the DCI reports, which not only include witness statements but also video from squad cameras,
