FREDERICK COUNTY, Md. (DC News Now) -- Lanes were closed on Interstate 70 West following a crash in Frederick County on Wednesday morning.
Details about what led up to the collision are limited; however, it took place just past Exit 62 in the New Market area.
Maryland State Police told DC News Now that shortly after 3:30 a.m. on Oct. 8, troopers responded to I-70, near Green Valley Road, for a crash involving a Ford Escape and a tractor-trailer.
The driver of the Ford was taken to the shock trauma center for treatment. The extent of the driver's injuries is unknown.
As of Wednesday morning, two lanes on the I-70 were blocked off as troopers continued their investigation.
