GEORGETOWN COUNTY, S.C. (WCSC) - The South Carolina Highway Patrol is seeking information about a hit-and-run collision that left one person with serious injuries last Wednesday afternoon.
Lance Cpl. Lena Butler said a motorcycle was traveling south on US Highway 701 towards Lucy Grier Road when it allegedly struck a log truck that was traveling north on US 701.
The motorcyclist sustained serious injuries from the collision and the other vehicle left the scene. Troopers said the suspected vehicle that allegedly left the scene is a white truck tractor with a sleeper cab.
The vehicle is believed the vehicle may have damage along the driver’s side, according to Butler.
Anyone with information about the collision or the vehicle is asked to submit an anonymous tip by calling the South Carol
