WATERLOO — Black Hawk County Board of Supervisors member Christopher Schwartz, 45, has been arrested.

The public records department in Black Hawk County confirmed the supervisor's arrest.

Schwartz was booked into jail at 9:38 a.m. on Wednesday morning. According to his booking entry at the Black Hawk County Jail, he was booked on a sexual abuse charge with bond set at $50,000.
