PRINCE GEORGE'S COUNTY, Md. (DC News Now) -- Firefighters in Prince George's County rescued two people after multiple vehicles were involved in a crash on Thursday morning.

In a post on X, the Prince George's County Fire and EMS Department said that the call came in just after 7 a.m. for a crash in the 5100 block of Floral Park Road in Brandywine.

When units arrived, they found that multiple vehicles had collided and two people were trapped.

Crews worked to rescue two patients.

The fire department said a total of five people were taken to the hospital with serious but non-life-threatening injuries.
