ALEXANDRIA, Va. (DC News Now) -- An investigation is underway in Alexandria after one person was injured in a shooting late Friday night.
Details surrounding the shooting are limited; however, in a post on X shortly before midnight, police said one person was shot in the 2800 block of Telek Place. This is in the Eisenhower West area.
Medics took them to the hospital for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries.
Police noted that the person was shot by a "known suspect," but it is not clear if the suspect was taken into custody.
DC News Now reached out to the Alexandria Police Department for more information, but has not yet heard back.
