HEYBURN, Idaho (KMVT/KSVT) — Firefighters in Heyburn raced to extinguish a structure fire on Friday morning.

The Minidoka County Fire Protection District responded around 10 a.m. to a house on South 500 West. The fire caused no injuries, but the bedroom fire left the house with extensive smoke damage.

Crews remained on scene for one hour battling the blaze. The fire protection district had to call in engines from the Heyburn and East End stations.

The Burley Fire Department, Emergency Response Ambulance, Heyburn Police and the Minidoka County Sheriff’s Office also responded.
