Police are probing the death of a Scottish man after he was found in a flat .

Officers are treating the death as 'unexplained'. Emergency services were called to Burgh Court in Lochgelly at around 2pm on October 11.

Police confirmed they are working to establish the circumstances surrounding his death.

An image from the scene shows police vehicles parked on the residential street. Footage from the scene also showed an ambulance outside the front of the building,

A spokesperson for the force said: "Around 2pm on Saturday, October 11, 2025, police received a report of the death of a man at a property in the Burgh Court area of Lochgelly.

"The death is being treated as unexplained and enquiries into the circumstances are ongoing."
