MADISON, Wis. (WMTV) -From classic techniques to modern craft, it’s all about carving out time for the art of woodworking at the Joinery in Middleton.
Celebrating the shop’s two-year anniversary, community members were invited out of the woodwork, and into the doors of Joinery Fest for an afternoon of good food and creativity.
“To do a craft, these days, is, I think is something that we all desire to reconnect with, and you don’t have to have any experience to do it,” said owner Steven Ricks. “There’s something for everybody.”
The first event held Saturday brought together makers, artists, and craftspeople for community.
