BUCKSNORT, Tenn. (WSMV) - Families of those unaccounted for after a deadly blasts at a munitions plant in Humphreys County, are asking more questions of how the explosion happened.
Sixteen families remain in the dark on what happened to their loved ones who were inside the AES building in Hickman County at the time of the blast Friday morning.
Lateshia Mays, 26, is one of the 16 people unaccounted for four days after the explosion. Mays worked at Accurate Energetic Systems for eight months. Her family said they want to know how this happened.
“They make bombs here. Why is there not a bomb squad closer for instances like these?” a family member asked. “For you to say there’s no survivors, you’re not certain until you check the whole premises.”
