The Adams County Sheriff’s Office, working with the Concordia Parish Sheriff’s Office, has arrested a suspect in the kidnapping of Elizabeth Green.

Authorities identified the suspect as Victor Alfonso Xol Mez, who was taken into custody by Concordia Parish deputies during a traffic stop in Clayton, Louisiana. Investigators said coordinated efforts between the two agencies led to the safe recovery of Elizabeth Green and the suspect’s arrest.

Sheriff Travis Patten of Adams County thanked Concordia Parish for its swift response, saying the quick coordination was key to Green’s safe return and the arrest. Concordia Parish Sheriff David Hedrick praised the collaboration, noting that shared information and teamwork produced a successful outcome.
