PHOENIX (AZFamily) — Travelers headed into and out of Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport should check their flight’s status as an increase in delays is being reported.
As of 6:50 a.m., the FAA is reporting average ground delays of 50 minutes or more due to low ceiling conditions.
More than 270 delays have been reported as of 7:04 a.m., per the airport’s website. Most of those flights are being operated by Southwest or American Airlines.
