A 999 hoax caller has been warned his behaviour could put lives at risk. ‌

Steven Smith, 36, of Woodside Street, Coatbridge , appeared at Airdrie Sheriff Court on Friday. ‌

He admitted wasting police time by making a series of false emergency calls on June 29 and 30. ‌
