PROCTOR, Minn. (Northern News Now) - An announcement was made to Proctor Middle and High School students, families, and staff on Sunday, regarding a violent threat made against the school.
According to a message sent to families, the district received a threat of violence specifically mentioning Monday, October 13th, 2025, directed toward Proctor Middle and High School.
School staff promptly contacted the Proctor Police Department after receiving the threat. Both the school and law enforcement have been actively investigating the situation.
As of Monday morning, there is no evidence indicating an ongoing threat to students or staff.
In response, the schools will have an increased law enforcement presence at both the high school and middle school, along with heightened security measures
