WESTWOOD, Kan. (KCTV) - A woman pleaded guilty to setting the house of a former coworker on fire earlier this year.

Ladan P. Richardson admitted to arson during a Johnson County court hearing on Oct. 10, 2025.

Westwood, Kansas, Police responded to a 911 call about a house fire near W. 50th and State Line Road on May 9.

When first responders arrived, they said they found the homeowner was not there, however, they were able to review security footage and provide it to investigators. The video showed a white female with a glass bottle step out of a black sedan in the homeowner’s driveway.
