SIOUX CITY, Iowa (KCAU) — This weekend, a street collapsed in a Sioux City neighborhood.

A water main break, which occurred around 2:30 a.m. on Saturday, caused the road to cave in on the 3000 block of South Cornelia Street. The city has begun searching for a contractor to repair the road by winter.

If a contractor cannot be secured in time, the city will patch the road and wait until spring to completely repair the road.
