A juvenile suffered life-threatening injuries Saturday night in Montgomery, police say.

At about 11:18 p.m. Oct. 11, police went to a local hospital on a report of a person shot, said Lt. Ernestina McGriff, spokeswoman for the Montgomery Police Department. Officers found a juvenile male who had sustained life-threatening injuries from a gunshot wound, she said. The preliminary investigation determined that the incident occurred in the 4000 block of Fitzpatrick Boulevard.

The circumstances of the case remain under investigation, and no other information was immediately released. Police ask people with knowledge of the case to call CrimeStoppers at 334-215-STOP, the Secret Witness Line at 334-625-4000 or MPD at 334-625-2831.
