WICHITA, Kan. (KWCH) - The Kansas Department of Transportation is reminding drivers to be on the lookout for deer on the road this time of year.

KDOT said vehicle-deer crashes greatly increase in the fall due to deer breeding season, with November being the peak time for crashes. Levi Jaster, KDWP Big Game Program Coordinator, said that even if you’re in an area with fewer deer, seasonal changes can bring deer onto any road at any time of the day or night.
