PHOENIXVILLE, Pa. (WPVI) -- A Phoenixville mother is expressing gratitude after three strangers came to her aid when her teenage son suffered a sudden seizure while they were driving through town.

Jenessa Broderick was taking her 15-year-old son, Weston, to get a haircut on Saturday morning when he unexpectedly slumped over in the passenger seat.

"I thought he was messing around and I was ticked off because he was late coming out of the house," Broderick said. "So, I'm like, 'Get off me. What are you doing?'"

Realizing something was wrong, Broderick pulled over along Bridge Street and quickly discovered Weston was having a seizure, despite having no known medical conditions.

"At this point, he is turning gray, and I'm screaming his name at the top of my lungs," she said.
