FARGO — When the historic EF-5 tornado ripped through Enderlin, N.D., in June, it forever changed the lives of so many people.

That includes Roberta Lucio, who is dealing with the loss of her husband, Marc, who was killed when the June 20 F-5 tornado hit their farm near Enderlin.

But over the weekend, a sign of hope and new beginnings.

Since the tornado, Roberta has been separated from the family pets. An emotional reunion changed that.

"I want to give you a hug," said Kristi Biewer, who fostered one of Roberta's cats.

Roberta Lucio came to Fargo to be reunited with Raindrop, a cat she and Marc rescued from death more than 12 years ago.

"We saw him and he was face down in a puddle and I said, get the spade, we will have to bury this one," Roberta said of rescuing Raindrop as a kitten
