Comedian Dave Hughes has returned to hospital, six weeks after suffering five broken ribs and a punctured lung in the AFL's Legends game.
Representing Victoria in the exhibition match in August, Hughes was on the receiving end of bumps from former AFL players Andrew Embley, Daniel Gorringe and Mitch Robinson during the match.

On Monday, the comedian took to social media to announce that he was back in hospital with more lung issues.
"The experts are draining a coupla litres of lung fluid into a goon bag for me. Then it's party time again," Hughes wrote.
Hughes's greatest concern in hospital appeared to be a constant beeping noise as he lay in a bed.
