SAN ANGELO, Texas (Concho Valley Homepage) — A truck hanging over an overpass on Loop 306 led to part of the Loop being shut down on Monday, Oct. 13.
San Angelo police responded to the crash at the exit of Loop 306 and U.S. Highway 277 South/U.S. 87 South at around 6:40 p.m. A gray Chevrolet pickup was seen with airbags deployed and the back right tire hanging over the barricade.
According to the San Angelo Police Department, the driver was arrested for driving while intoxicated and taken to the Tom Green County Jail. A video was captured of the arrest. Traffic was redirected for about an hour; the road is open again. No injuries were reported.
